~I went shopping~

I went shopping and I came home with some pretty fabulous finds!
I picked up 2 of these Ikat pillows that are huge, and I think I am going back for a 3rd.
I have a hard time buying something I can make myself, but these were too good of a deal to pass by!
Then I picked up some fresh flowers.
I am really needing Spring right about now.
Snow is in the forecast~again.
They smell fabulous too!
I have been looking for a while now for new lamps for my new Pottery Barn shades.
I found these at Marshall's.
They were a little pricey, even for Marshall's, but I couldn't help but fall in love with them.
They are the perfect shade of chippy blue.

I still would like to find something to go in between the lamps on the sofa table.
Good thing there is a great flea market coming up this weekend!

I took a lot of pictures~sorry.....

Hope you are all having a fantastic day!
xoxo

~pretty painted floors~

If your wood floors have seen better days, why not dress them up with a little paint?
{source: flea market Trixie} You can do a great chevron pattern like above,
or for a more casual look, simply paint them white.
{source: country living}

You can turn inexpensive pine or even plywood into something really show stopping.
{source: living etc.}

I am loving pattern right now, lots and lots of it!
{source: flea market Trixie}

You don't have to use paint.
You can also use 2 different colors of stain to create a checkerboard.
{source: cottage living}

This photo screams
"girly"
to me!
Wouldn't it be great in a powder room?
{source: flea market Trixie}

Again, the classic checkerboard, perfect for a country kitchen.

I saved the best for last!
Isn't this gorgeous?
Very subtle, looks like it's been there for years!

I found a great article on how to paint wood floors if you are looking to
tackle this project yourself.
You can find it here.
Thank you to everyone who left such kind comments about yesterday's post, and thank you to everyone who sent me the sweetest emails!
You guys are the best!

~a few of my favorite free printables~

I thought today I'd share with your some of my favorite blogs and websites that offer free print ables!
Each one of these links has so many to choose from, so be sure to view them all!
Some are for personal use only, so be sure to double check the limitations on each one.
The first one up is one of my favorites!
I love to organize and to me, pantry organization is crucial when you do a lot of baking like I do. I love these labels and thought you would too!
{I've shared these before, so those of you who have been reading my blog for a while will find this one a repeat, sorry!}
These labels are from
I love how she crumpled them up and aged them a bit before adding them to her jars.

These are super sweet little tags that would be great for Valentine's day.
Lace patterned labels and tags from

Martha Stewart has these great monogram labels in her wedding section.
I think these would be adorable as party favors at birthdays,
or used as place markers at a table too.

Eat, drink, chic will never let you down.
There are a ton of great ideas, fabulous photos, and adorable print ables.
I have used these labels time and time again.
Click below to take you to these vintage style oil and vinegar labels from

These blank labels are from

and organize to your hearts content!
These 2 from print ables are from

You can find a ton of print ables here, these are just a couple I thought were extra cute.

I'm sure you have all heard of
Pages and pages of great images to print out.
You can easily navigate through her site.
Pick out "botanicals" for example, and you will find dozens of great images.
Print these out and use them framed on your wall for a inexpensive alternative to antique botanicals.
